Karen studied at Buckinghamshire Chilterns University College in London and qualified in 2003 with a Dip HE in Nursing. This was followed up with her BSc in Clinical Practice from Southampton University. Karen has experience working in a variety of different clinical settings across the island. She worked for many years for FNHC as a Sister and is experienced in wound care management, continence care and palliative care. Most recently she has been involved in managing one of the leading care homes in Jersey.

She loves spending time with family, gardening and anything creative.
